The 5D CNS+™ algorithm, a workflow-based volumetric approach, has proven its clinical applicability in thorough evaluations of the fetal brain. It allows for the reconstruction of all diagnostic planes needed for a complete neurosonogram from a single 3D volume, enabling simultaneous assessment of axial, coronal, and sagittal diagnostic planes. However, a few initial steps are required post volume acquisition to run the Semi-automatic 5D CNS+™ properly. With the advance of 5D CNS+™, a fully automated ready for use algorithm became available, further increasing reproducibility and simplifying clinical workflow with a maximum reduction of both examination time and operator dependency. Furthermore, intelligent navigation enables the algorithm to exactly locate diagnostic planes resulting in a marked refinement of accuracy in quantification of cerebral structures
